Participants reflect on the Alma Cloud Apps Hackathon

June 1, 2021

Date(s) - June 01, 2021
12:00 pm (Australia/Sydney) - 1:00 pm (Australia/Sydney)

Come and learn about what it was like to participate in our recent Alma Cloud Apps Hackathon. It’s a great chance for anyone who may be considering being part of a similar event in the future.

The popularity of cloud apps continues to grow, and there are now over 30 different user-created apps that can be easily added to your own version of Alma- including three popular apps created during our hackathon.

At our webinar, four Hackathon team members will reflect on their experiences, what it was like to work in cross-institutional teams, and how they found the cloud apps platform. The second half of the session will be your opportunity to ask our panelists questions.

You’ll hear from:

Hugh Rundle, La Trobe University, Citation Checker App (in beta mode)

Members of the winning Delete My Sets app:

  • Patricia Farnan, University of Notre Dame
  • Jessie Donaghey, Bond University
  • Andrew Press, Charles Sturt University
