ANZREG Conference call for presentations
The ANZREG Committee is pleased to announce the upcoming ANZREG Conference, scheduled for July 3rd and 4th 2023.
The conference will take place over 2 half days to accommodate all time zones of our wide-reaching community, beginning at 12pm AEST.
We are excited to bring you a thought-provoking keynote panel on Monday 3rd of July, who will discuss Artificial Intelligence from a First Nations perspective. Our panellists are Maggie Walter – founding member of the Miaim nayri Wingara Australia Indigenous Data Sovereignty Collective, and Karaitiana Taiuru – Māori technology ethicist specialising in Māori Data Sovereignty.
The committee invites you to submit a presentation proposal, so if you’ve got an idea or you’re doing something innovative in your library, the community wants to hear about it.
We welcome presentations on various topics, tools and systems so get creative.
To submit your proposal, please fill in the submission form here. The deadline for proposal submissions is COB Monday, 19th of June.
So please – mark your calendar for the ANZREG Conference on July 3rd and 4th, submit a proposal, and stay tuned for further updates and registration information.
