Swinburne University of Technology went live with Alma in April 2013 and was the first library to implement Alma in Asia Pacific. Tony Davies, Manager of Information Support Services, will talk about Swinburne’s decision to choose Alma, lessons learned from the migration and implementation process, and experiences since going live.

Webinar Two: Workflows: creating the happy path to an Alma mindset

This presentation describes and discusses the benefits of a training program that was given to UNSW Library staff to help their thinking in the lead up to UNSW data migration to Alma. The training program was run to skill staff in modelling their business processes.
Objectives for the Modelling business processes using workflow diagrams workshop included:
- Identifying the components of a process
- Understanding the purpose of a business process
- Representing and modelling a business process using a workflow diagram
